At RSAC we want to have a safe sport environment, where everyone can climb/boulder/party with pleasure, respect and fun. To ensure this, there are two confidential contact persons (VCP’er) trained. A VCP’er is a person that provides the first line of support. If you have any concerns about one of the following topics, for yourself or for someone else, we will be there for you.
- Intimidation, be it sexual, physical or any other form
- Discrimination
- Eating disorders
- Mental health concerns
- Self-harm or self-termination
- Abuse of power
- Doubt about the validity of someone’s certificate (unsafe climbing/belaying)
- Or other concerns that are relevant
At first we will just talk about your concerns. But in case it is considered necessary, and in accordance with the individual, the person/people can be referred to the appropriate assistance.
If one of the VCP’ers sees something within the RSAC that we have concerns about, we can initiate a conversation.
