Climbing at Klimmuur Rotterdam

Our regular climbing location is klimmuur Rotterdam, where we have weekly climbing sessions on monday at 20.00. In order to join us at the climbing gym, a toprope certificate is necessary. No certificate yet? No problem, the klimmuur offers monthly courses which you can follow. If you followed this course and you want to join a session, send an email to secretaris@rsac.alpenclub.nl. Haven't followed a course yet? Join our weekly bouldering session at Beest Boulders, on Thursday at 19:30!

Toprope course

RSAC members can follow a toprope course with a 50% discount, which costs €49,50. The course is 4 lessons, in which you learn to climb independently.

For entry you pay the regular fee of the Klimmuur

You can also buy a 10-entry pass through the RSAC for €102,50. This pass is valid at both Klimmuur Rotterdam and Beest Boulders Rotterdam. At the Klimmuur it is only valid during off-peak hours and on the Monday evening. With the pass you also get a 10% discount for the shop and bar at both locations.

If you climb and boulder more than 6 times a month, you can also buy a Klimmuur subscription for €60,- a month. This subscription is valid at all locations of Klimmuur and Beest Boulders. With the subscription you also get a 10% discount in the shop and at the bar at all locations.

 

Bouldering at Beest Boulders Rotterdam

Our regular bouldering location is Beest Boulders Rotterdam. Here we boulder every Thursday from 19:30 onwards. Everyone is welcome to join! You don't need any experience.

What is bouldering?
Bouldering is climbing close to the ground, up to 4.5m. There are safety mats instead of ropes. Bouldering is often a lot of puzzling, in which you sometimes use acrobatic moves to get to the top. Although it is possible to go bouldering alone, it is often a lot of fun to solve problems with a group.

Accessible for everyone
In contrast to climbing at the climbing gym, you do not need to follow a course to go bouldering. The only thing you need is clothes in which you can move comfortably. You can rent climbing shoes at the bouldering gym (although it is sensible to buy your own if you go regularly).
